Actress Janel Parrish of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars will be a contestant on season 19 of Dancing With the Stars. Parrish, the 25-year-old Hawaiian who portrays the villainous Mona Vanderwaal on Pretty Little Liars, also sings. At 14, she appeared on the remake of the TV talent competition Star Search and sang “On My Own.” Jack Osbourne (who later went on to compete on DWTS, too) was a judge and said Parrish’s performance was “good.” (Take it easy, Jack, with the praise!) Parrish later made her first album, Rainy Day.
Other DWTS season 19 contestants include General Hospital alum Antonio Sabato Jr. and Olympic athlete Lolo Jones (track and field, and bobsled). The two-hour premiere of Dancing With the Stars, Season 19 will air Monday, September 15.
