After 10 years of busting nearly 1000 myths, TV personalities Kari Byron, Grant Imahara, and Tory Belleci are leaving the Discovery Channel show Mythbusters. The show is “taking a new direction.” The ZZ Top-resembling hosts Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage will stay on.
All three exiting were very gracious with their goodbyes. Kari Byron tweeted: “I am sad for an ending but there will be exciting new adventures for us.” Chances are it’ll be another weird job. She seems to like those. When interviewed for Mythbusters, Byron said, “one of the things they asked us was would we be willing to donate bodily fluids. I’ve personally given vomit, blood, urine, flatulence. I’ve not had to donate any fecal matter—but I have given my dogs’, if that counts.”
