Deadpool is a bad-ass bilingual dude who can really take a punch, and that’s just a little of what we learn in the very brief rare footage unearthed by Latino Review. The Deadpool live-action film has had a number of false starts, and this incredible footage is, according to the LR, some “performance capture with Ryan Reynolds reprising his X-Men Origins: Wolverine character, Wade Wilson/Deadpool.” It was shot by Tim Miller and harkens all the way back to the 2011 announcement that Miller would direct Ryan Reynolds in a stand-alone Deadpool.
Mr. Disgusting at Bloody Disgusting says the footage is so good it makes him “weep” for all that might have been. He even has a little typo that reads perfectly by accident. Taking a line from Shakespeare, Disgusting writes of the footgage: “this is the stuff that dreams are mad (sic) of.” It certainly is.
