It’s been five years since Jessica Biel has been on network TV. In 2009, she made an appearance on Saturday Night Live when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was the host; she played the curvaceous Jessica Rabbit for the skit. Mrs. Timberlake will now take on another voluptuous character for her return to TV this fall. She’ll play a sexy scientist named Kat on the Season 4 premiere of Fox’s New Girl. At a wedding, Biel and Zooey Deschanel (Jess) will fight over the other guest star, the handsome Reid Scott of Veep.
After the New Girl episode, Biel will continue to work with the show’s director Bill Purple who’s directing Biel’s next film The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Biel is producing and starring in the film. It’s about an introverted architect (cast not confirmed yet!) meets wisecraking Penny (Biel) who convinces him to help her build a raft to cross the Atlantic. Oh, and Justin Timberlake will act as composer and music supervisor for the film.
