Freddie Prinze Jr. says working with Kiefer Sutherland on 24 made him want “to quit” acting. And he did, kind of. For awhile. He’s back now and apparently wants everybody to know it. He sure figured out a way to get attention fast (he’s promoting Star Wars Rebels, a Disney XD series.) “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world,” Prinze told ABC about his time working on the hit show in 2010. Nobody had asked him.
Then Prinze proceeded to take some unprofessional shots of his own, talking about Sutherland’s lack of height, among other shortcomings. After “quitting acting” Prinze–distraught over Sutherland’s stunted physical and emotional growth–went to work for Vince McMahon at the WWE. It was another crazy experience but at least, Prinze says, McMahon was “cool and tall.” Freddy Prinze Jr. would like you to know he’s 6ft and Kiefer Sutherland isn’t. But here’s the strangest thing. Prinze doesn’t seem to understand trash talk. “That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face,” Prinze said in the interview. But the best trash talk is to somebody’s face. That is trash talk, saying a dude is unprofessional and dwarf-like and that everybody who’s worked with him thinks so. That’s trash talk, Freddie, so you know.
