On the Flipping Out episode “Full Circle,” while new dads Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward plan the baptism for their daughter Monroe, Jeff (and Jenni Pulos) have a heart-to-heart conversation with his longtime housekeeper Zoila Chavez who tells Jeff, “I’m done, Jeffrey.” She says she doesn’t want to work there anymore. “I don’t want more stress,” she says. When Jeff asks her why she didn’t say so earlier, she says, “I told you all the time. And you don’t believe me.”
When Jeff offers Zoila the opportunity to work just on the weekends, when no one is there, Zoila says, “Thank you so much but no.” Jeff quietly accepts it and says: “I feel responsible because you’ve been very unhappy here for quiet some time,” which makes Zoila shed a tear. Jeff admits that he’s ignored the fact that she’s wanted to retire for years. “I’ve been holding this woman hostage,” he says and worries about doing the same thing to his baby daughter when she’s 29 and wants to move out of the house. Flipping Out airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
