Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is known for her role as shoe-addicted writer Carrie Bradshaw in the iconic HBO series Sex and the City and its current sequel And Just Like That… On the heels (sorry, not sorry) of her success portraying fashion-forward Carrie, Parker has launched her own line of designer shoes, the SJP Collection.
SJP shoes are available at department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue and at her brick and mortar retail stores in New York City’s Greenwich Village (Carrie’s neighborhood, see pink interior shop above), at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, and at a handful of malls in Dubai.
When Parker shared the photo above, her fans went wild with praise, especially over her long floral dress with black piping. (The dress is by Reformation, whose tagline is: “being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We’re #2.”)
Other SJP fans complimented her on her “spotty” sandals. When one fan wrote: “Two diff shoes!” SJP herself replied: “On purpose! We sell her this way!” (Parker refers to all her designs as she and her!)
Get ready to see more of Parker: she announced that they just finished filming Season 2 of And Just Like That… with John Corbett (Aiden). No word yet on a premiere date.
