So you’re a 12-year-old kid doing a regulation quick feet defensive drill at a Jr. NBA session and suddenly there’s a giant among you, moving his feet so fast it’s like he’s still trying to make the team. But it’s not just any giant either: it’s 2-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo!
And while stars everywhere talk about their love of the game, probably no star of Giannis’s stature is quite as believable when he says things like: “Had to jump in the drills with @jrnba…I LOVE DEFENSE!!” It’s the “had to” that gets you, as a fan of the game. Because you know it’s true. As for loving defense? There’s little doubt.
