Oscar winners Jamie Foxx (Ray) and Robert De Niro (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull) are filming the action movie Tin Soldier with Clint Eastwood’s son, actor Scott Eastwood, and John Leguizamo, among others, in Greece.
Foxx plays The Bokushi, a preacher with a following of military-trained veterans, “an impenetrable fortress” and an arsenal of weapons. G-man Emmanuel Ashburn (De Niro) recruits an ex-special forces asset (Eastwood), to take down The Bokushi.
Leguizamo says he’s “getting into mad shape” for the movie — see photo below.
Tin Solider producers Kjarval and Chasman said: “As longtime friends, working with Brad (Furman) to craft an inspired and clever action film is a dream come true as we have formed a family along the way. Brad and Jess (Fuerst) have written such a powerful screenplay that has allowed us to put together an amazing diverse group of actors. With such incredible talent, this is going to be a wild ride.”
