Actress Karen Fukuhara plays the non-speaking character Kimiko in the Amazon Prime series The Boys. When The Boys released a recap of Kimiko’s silent but violent actions in the video below, it was captioned: “Who needs words when actions speak this loud.”
When one fan replied: “She radiated protective older sister vibes and I’m here for that.” The Boys wrote back: “She’ll absolutely put you onto the best music you’ve ever heard AND instill fear in the heart of your partner when they act out of line.”
Some fans were surprised to hear Karen speak at the red carpet event below. One wrote: “I’ve literally never heard her speak before. my brain buffered for a moment” while another replied: “Don’t talk , you are breaking the character.” Karen says of season 3 of The Boys: “it’s emotional sometimes.”
The third season of The Boys is available on Prime, beginning on Friday, June 3.
