On Season 11 of Shark Tank, three entrepreneurs (Jonothan DiPeri, Shaquille Walker and Jared Ward) pitch their exercise and recovery ball MyoStorm. It’s a heated, vibrating massage ball/roller for deep tissue muscle massage.
The three young men go into the Tank seeking an investment of $150,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity.
They receive offers from NBA Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (see in photo above), guest Shark and Miami Dolphins exec Matt Higgins, Kevin O’Leary, and QVC Queen Lori Greiner.
They accept Lori’s offer of $150k for 5 percent equity plus $1 dollar per unit royalty until she recoups $500,000.
On the show (the Shark Tank episode originally aired in October 2019), Lori thought the $160 price tag was too high and suggested lowering the price to $99. The MyoStorm product, Meteror, is currently available for $149 on Amazon where it’s getting great reviews including “yes it is worth the price.”
Shark Tank episodes air Saturdays at 9 pm on ABC.
