On Season 11 of Shark Tank, Jason McOmber of Salt Lake City, Utah dressed like an elf and pitched Beardaments, a line of Christmas ornaments for beards. He went into the Tank seeking an investment of $150,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity.

McOmber is a big fan of ugly Christmas sweaters, so you’d think Robert Herjavec (investor in Tipsy Elves) might have bit, but he didn’t. It was Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary who made a deal with McOmber: $150k for 25 percent.
The Beardaments Shark Tank episode originally aired in December 2019. Since then, the one-name tech innovator and quantum computing star whurley (and CEO of Strangeworks) donned Beardaments when hanging out with former President Obama!
Beardaments hasn’t been active on social media since December 2019, so we’re hoping for big news as Christmas approaches. December is only four months away! And, you know, they’d look great on a Zoom call!
Shark Tank airs Fridays at 8 pm and Saturdays at 9 pm on ABC.
