On Season 11 of Shark Tank, entrepreneur Lisa Nguyen tells her story of once living in a refugee camp and now raising a family with her husband Duc Nguyen in Huntington Beach, California.
Together they pitch their interchangeable, slip-resistant, machine washable, and fully recyclable children’s shoe company Baubles + Soles.

The Nguyens went into the Tank seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for 15 percent equity.
They accepted an offer from retail king, FUBU founder Daymond John — $100,000 for 25 percent. Daymond wrote about Lisa: “She has a tenacity that I could just feel.”
One month after the Shark Tank episode originally aired (in November 2019), Daymond stopped by the visit Baubles + Soles, as seen in the post above. Lisa writes: “We are beyond blessed and lucky to partner with Daymond.”
Baubles + Soles continues to get great reviews on Amazon including one titled “So Stinkin’ Cute!!”
Shark Tank re-runs air Fridays at 8 pm on ABC.
