Bear Minimum is an innovative camping cookware company known for its best-selling product The Bear Bowl, a patented flame resistant coated fiberglass cooking pot that folds flat and fits in your pocket.
The entrepreneurs behind Bear Minimum, husband and wife duo Cory and Heidi Santiago, passionately pitched their business on the Season 10 premiere of Shark Tank in 2018.
The Santiagos went into the Tank seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for 20 percent equity.
Guest Shark Jamie Siminoff — who did not get a deal on Shark Tank for his video doorbell security product Doorbot (now Ring) but a few years later sold it to Amazon for $1 billion — offered the Santiagos $100k for 25 percent of Bear Minimum and they accepted.
Since Shark Tank, Bear Minimum has rolled out its Complete Camp Kitchen, which retails on Amazon for $199 (see link).
Bear Minimum’s Complete Camp Kitchen includes The Full Meal metal cards which includes a foldable stove stand for a pot or Bear Bowl, a lid that doubles as a griddle and 4 tools that together have 10 useful functions (spatula, tongs, fork and knife).
