B O D Y A C C E P T A N C E 🔸 🔸 Know that you must love your body at ALL times. Big, small, bloated, strong, & weak. I’ve gone through many stages of body acceptance. Particularly when I was in high school & at the very beginning of my fitness journey. I wasted a lot of time shaming my body & idolizing other people’s because I wanted a smaller waist, bigger hips … the list went on & on. I wanted everything I didn’t have. 🔸 🔸 & then I met fitness! Fitness gave me FULL control. Fitness allows you to build the body you’ve always wanted. In doing so, you build the mental capacity to create the life you want. Ever hear the saying “Fitness is a lifestyle.” Fitness + Discipline go hand in hand. You can’t succeed in fitness without discipline. 🔸 🔸 Despite what some people say, DISCIPLINE is the strongest form of self-love. It allows you to work for everything you have ever wanted & actually achieve it. I struggle with discipline like everyone else, but I do not give up. “How do you stay motivated?” might be the #1 FAQ I get asked, the answer is simple, DISCIPLINE. At times I don’t have discipline, I try again later that day, and then the next day. 🔸 🔸 Remember that the only way to move past your current state, is by acknowledging where you are with acceptance.
