On the Modern Family episode “The Last Thanksgiving,” while Haley (Sarah Hyland) tries to cook Thanksgiving dinner as a way to thank her parents for their support with the twins, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) manipulates her daughter-in-law Claire (Julie Bowen) into coming to her house and doing her work around the house.
