The protagonist of the Lifetime TV movie A Lover Scorned is Brooke. When the neglected housewife meets young insurance salesman Jake (Leo Howard), a steamy love affair ensues. Unbeknownst to Brooke, Jake is a sociopath who pulls her into “a bloody plan of murder.”
If she doesn’t do as he says (kill her husband for the insurance policy money), she will become Jake’s next victim. Brooke is portrayed by Emilie de Ravin.
The Australian-born actress is known for her roles on Once Upon a Time (Belle French — photo above, far right in blue dress), Lost (Claire Littleton), Roswell (Tess Harding), and in the 2010 film Remember Me opposite Robert Pattinson and Pierce Brosnan.
