Davis was at a Malibu hotel, lying in bed watching a movie when he saw that his agent — who also happens to be LeBron James’s agent, btw — was calling. But Davis “just hit it” (ignored it) and then ignored a second call before waking up to the idea that the agent might have some big news.
Being traded to the LA Lakers to play with LeBron qualifies as big news. Wonder what the movie was? Davis can make a pretty strong endorsement for a movie that will hold your attention…
