Red Rocks is big and legendary just like NBA Hall of Fame center Shaquille O’Neal. So it only makes sense that Shaq — this time under his musical pseudonym Diesel — is bringing his famous and famously fun DJing prowess to the mountains. Shaq (as Diesel) is second-billed at Red Rocks Parade of Bass on June 2, where he’ll join Blunts & Blondes, Eptic, and headliner Dillon Francis in the Red Rocks Ampitheatre in the Rocky Mountains.
Shaq shouts out his headbanger followers and says he is BRINGING THE BASS to Denver. Diesel says he is “coming in hot where my head bangers at??” (tweet below)
Blunts and Blondes is the stagename of Festival circuit star Mike Guard, a beatmaker and smoker whose dream is to get down — or high, that is — with Shaq’s friend Snoop Dogg. Maybe Shaq can make it happen? Should be a tremendous show. And as usual, Dillon Francis looks ready for anything:
