The dynamic Kristen Bell is back with the “Momsplaining” bit on Ellen‘s YouTube channel and this time it really is an education. The sharp and yet still always happily astonished Bell even manages to insert (no pun intended) a #metoo moment into the bit — as she learns about snake sex. Yes, snake sex.
Introduced to a milk snake (his name is Sid), Bell is typically game and not at all squeamish or afraid — hey, plenty of people are terrified of snakes, but not Bell. Learning that the male snake will come up from behind and touch the female on the head before sex to “make sure she’s into it,” Bell shouts out the hashtag #consentissexy.
Sure is sexy, especially since this snake is asking for a lot, it turns out. Because the snake has two penises, called hemipenes. So consent…well, you had really better make a point of getting it, having two and all. But what gets Bell to shout whoa! and make the best face is when the duration of the act is revealed. “It can take less than an hour, sometimes up to 24 hours” she’s told. “Holy ___,” yells Bell. As if the hemipenis wasn’t enough.
