Kitty Kasas makes cat houses that are durable, stackable and easy to clean. The founders of Kitty Kasas, Nikki Linn and Rusty Niedwick of Basalt, Colorado and Newport Coast, California, pitched their pet business on Shark Tank in January 2019. The tattooed entrepreneurs in black branded work shirts made quite the entrance into the Tank — on a motorcycle! [Kitty Kasas are available for delivery from PetCo.]

They went into the Tank seeking an investment of $200,000 in exchange for 20 percent equity. Kitty Kasas received two offers from Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary and the Queen of QVC Lori Greiner. They accepted Greiner’s offer of $200,000 for 30 percent.
Since the Shark Tank episode aired, Kitty Kasas has launched a new product, the Siesta. It’s a cat bed in the shape of a raindrop or gumdrop or teardrop (you decide) that comes with a stand or can be hung from a rope or chain from the ceiling! And they can be used indoors and outdoors.
