On the T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle episode “The Wheels Keep on Turning,” Toya Wright stresses about releasing her illustrated children’s book in time for her daughter Reign’s first birthday party. (Reign’s father is Red Rushing. The father of Toya’s eldest daughter Reginae Carter is rapper Lil Wayne, her first ex-husband.)

When Toya goes to the offices of Prima to see the final proofs of Learning Colors with Reignbeaux and is “ready to get the books on the shelves,” she’s disappointed with the cover (see photo below). Toya says something is wrong with the baby’s fingers and the sun is cut off. “I can’t go with this,” she complains. “I’m paying for all of this on my own so I’m losing both time and money, and that is not going to work for me.”
However, when it comes time to make a decision about hiring a new illustrator, Toya says she has to leave town to fly out to Dallas, meet her old friend — new mom and former Destiny’s Child singer LeToya Luckett Walker — and help her move and drive back to Atlanta. Toya admits, “It’s my own fault because I always take on too much. I didn’t quite think this through.” T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle airs Mondays at 9 pm on VH1, right after Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
