To kick off the All-Star Duets on American Idol, the producers brought in the legendary Pat Benatar and her guitarist husband Neil Giraldo. Kate Barnette and Madison Vandenburg were the lucky Idol contestants who got to perform with the white-haired duo (Benatar and Giraldo) on stage at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
On the second night of American Idol‘s All-Star Duets, famous crooner Chris Isaak, 62, graces the stage. Wearing a blue suit and an unusual amount of tie clips, Isaak sings his most famous song “Wicked Game” with contestant Evelyn Cormier, the 19-year-old married teacher from Claremont, New Hampshire, who sang the song for her Idol audition. Judge Katy Perry said after the performance, “Literally, one of my favorite voices that I’ve ever heard in my life.” Judge Luke Bryan told Cormier: “I think when you have a really amazing band behind you, it’s gonna be something crazy.”

Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” video was directed by fashion photographer Herb Ritts. It was shot in Hawaii and featured supermodel Helena Christensen (see below). Isaak has released a total of 12 albums; his most recent was First Comes the Night (2015).
Isaak is an actor too. He famously played Special Agent Chester Desmond in the 1992 David Lynch film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and Uncle Bob in Tom Hanks’s 1996 film That Thing You Do!
