In the Hallmark Channel movie The Story of Us, small town bookstore owner Jamie learns that a new development in the works could threaten her bookstore, True Love Bookstore and Cafe, and well, the overall charm of the town Waterford. When she finds out her first love Sawyer (Sam Page) is the architect on the job, she tries to change his mind just like Meg Ryan changed Tom Hanks’ mind in You’ve Got Mail.
Bookstore owner Jamie in Hallmark’s The Story of Us is portrayed by actress Maggie Lawson. Lawson is known for her roles on Lethal Weapon (Natalie), Santa Clarita Diet (Christa), The Great Indoors (Rachel), Angel from Hell (Allison), Two and a Half Men (Ms. McMartin), Psych (Jules O’Hara, SEE LINK ABOVE), Party of Five (Alexa), and in films including Pleasantville (Lisa Anne), among others. The Story of Us premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, February 9 at 8 pm.
