On the Say Yes to the Dress episode “The WAG,” WAG refers to “wives and girlfriends” of professional athletes. The bride at Kleinfeld who wears the moniker is Lyndzie Cherry. The “Gaze Into My Lyndz” vlogger is marrying professional basketball player Devyn Marble on July 7, 2019. They’re planning a royal wedding (she refers to them as a king and queen; see photos below) in Detroit as both bride and groom are from Michigan.

The 26-year-old, 6’6″ Marble played high school ball at Southfield-Lathrup High School before he played college basketball at the University of Iowa*, where he was two-time team captain. In the 2014 NBA draft, Marble was selected by the Denver Nuggets, and was later traded to the Orlando Magic on draft night. Marble joined the 2014 NBA Summer League and in 2015 was reassigned to the Magic’s affiliate, the Erie BayHawks. In July 2018, Marble signed a two-year deal with Italian club Aquila Basket Trento.

*In 2013, Marble and his father Roy Marble, became the first father-son duo to record 1,000 points each in Big Ten Conference history. Roy Marble played at Iowa too, and briefly with the Nuggets. Sadly, Roy Marble died of cancer in 2015 at the age of 48. Say Yes to the Dress airs Saturdays at 8 pm on TLC. [BONUS: TLC G0 App found here lets you stream any TLC show. Download is FREE.]
