In the Growing Up Hip Hop episode “Imma Throw You a Drank,” Briana Latrise is once again in the spotlight due to her dramatic behavior. After getting almost naked at Lil Twist’s party, Briana admits how drunk she was to her friend Boogie Dash. Keep in mind, Boogie went through an intervention after his DUI last season. Boogie voices his concern for Briana. He explains about Briana: “The reality versus TV land – the only way she copes with it is by drinking or doing drugs.” Briana’s anger doesn’t let up. At a party she goes head-to-head with Eric aka Lil Eazy-E and throws a glass of water in his face.

What also caught our attention is Boogie’s choice of t-shirt. He’s wearing a “Love, Simon” shirt designed by Sophie Ashworth of Auckland, New Zealand. “Love, Simon“ is the title of the 2018 film about Simon Spier, a young man who keeps a huge secret from his family, his friends, and all of his classmates: he’s gay. The fictional character Simon Spier has become a gay icon because of the movie — the film deals with the often difficult journey involved in “coming out.” Big name movie stars Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel star as Simon’s parents.
