In the Love & Hip Hop: Miami episode “Nada, Nada Empanada,” after the fallout of the T&T project, Trina does a radio interview with 99JAMZ without Trick who “won’t get off his ass and hold up his end of the bargain.”
When Trina aka the Diamond Princess shows up in the studio, Bobby Lytes walks in wearing orange sunglasses and matching beach hat. (She invited him.) He kids with the radio personalities, “Is this take your child to work day?” Whatever he’s doing is working because Trina says after seeing him at the video shoot the other day, “I’m really considering signing him to my label.”

Trina confides in Bobby (born Bobby Nico Wade), who is the show’s first openly gay cast member, about Alvin. Keep in mind Bobby and Alvin had an altercation in the past. Bobby tells Trina, “He don’t know his position no more,” and suggests loudly that “he needs to be fired!”
When Trina pivots and says she doesn’t know what to do with Bobby as an artist, he suggests that they do a song together. She says she’ll think about that and warns him “you just have to have a little patience.” Bobby thoughtfully repeats the word “patience.” Love & Hip Hop: Miami airs Wednesdays at 10 pm on VH1.
