In the series premiere of CW’s Roswell, New Mexico, scientist Liz Ortecho (Jeanine Mason, Grey’s Anatomy), reluctantly returns to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, after funding for her project is pulled because “someone needs a wall.” She’s comforted by her teenage crush, Max Evans (Nathan Parsons, CW’s The Originals), who’s now a police officer in town. While they spend more and more time together, it’s revealed that Max is an alien “living undercover among humans.”
