In the Growing Up Hip Hop episode “The Battle of the Lil’s,” Romeo Miller (formerly Lil Romeo) calls his long-time crush Angela Simmons and asks her to wish him luck on a “gigantic call back.” He tells her “I’m trying to do this for our future kids” which has her balking but in a flirtatious way. When Romeo plays in a celebrity charity basketball game and invites Angela, she shows up as “a cheerleader for Romeo.”

Minutes before the game, Angela is surprised to see Bow (formerly Lil Bow Wow) in a hallway. When she stops and says hi she reminds him “it’s been a long time,” Bow stammers a bit. Bow later admits that he warned Romeo that at tip off “Look, man, I’m going hard today.”
Think Bow means on the basketball court or for Angela? During the game, Romeo sees Angela cheering at the sideline but he’s not sure if she’s rooting for him or Bow. Growing Up Hip Hop airs Thursdays at 9 pm on WE.
