In the Splitting Up Together episode “Asking for a Friend”, Martin (Oliver Hudson) thinks his young girlfriend Lisa Apple (Monica Barbaro) might be pregnant. He turns to his friend Arthur (Bobby Lee) for advice which is hilarious as he’s hanging with rapper Valee (who plays himself). Meanwhile, Martin’s sister-in-law Maya (Diane Farr) tells her boyfriend Frank about her “friend” who’s dating someone new and is pregnant — to see his reaction.
Maya’s boyfriend Frank is portrayed by Travis Schuldt. He’s best known for his roles as Ben (The Soldier) on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, as Elliot’s boyfriend Keith on Scrubs, and as Ethan Winthrop on the soap opera Passions, among others. Splitting Up Together airs Tuesdays at 9:30 pm on ABC, right after black-ish and right before The Rookie.
