In the Young Sheldon episode “A Rival Prodigy and Sir Isaac Neutron,” there’s a new 10-year-old genius in town. Her name is Paige (guest star Mckenna Grace) and when Dr. John Sturgis (Wallace Shawn) bonds with her, Sheldon (Iain Armitage) gets jealous. While Meemaw (Annie Potts) tries to intervene, Sheldon’s mother Mary (Zoe Perry), who’s excited to meet parents she can relate to, invites Paige’s family over for a play date.
