On the Shahs of Sunset episode ‘It’s Passover: Let Your Girlfriend Go!,’ the group pushes Mike to get closer to Morgan while GG tries to make Nema jealous. On a more serious note, Destiney (who’s trying to get to the root of her issues with men) meets with a private detective to find her absentee Iranian father. (Destiney and her sisters were raised by their mother.) At a cafe, and with Reza by her side for moral support, Destiney reveals that she hasn’t seen her father in about 10 years. The detective is quick to share her intuition which makes Destiney break down in tears. “Literally, I’m about to walk out,” she tells the detective. Reza pleads with Destiney to sit down. Destiney cries, “No, no, no, this is all going wrong.”
The encounter with the private detective has Reza looking at his own daddy issues and he realizes he may not be ready for the children his husband Adam so desperately wants. Shahs of Sunset airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
