Frywall is an ingenious invention for the kitchen. It’s a BPA-free silicone cone that sits right on top of a frying pan. It’s designed to keep hot oil from splattering all over the stovetop and onto the cook. The charismatic inventor of Frywall, Yair Reiner of Brooklyn, New York, pitched his patented product on Shark Tank in January 2018. Yair went into the Tank seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. He received several offers but it was the Queen of QVC, Lori Greiner, who offered him exactly what he asked for — and more. She said she would fund his purchase orders and give him a line of credit indefinitely. Plus, she wooed him with her Golden Ticket, a token she gives out just once a year to her favorite product.
