On the season finale of Little People, Big World episode “Grandkids’ First Christmas,” it’s Jackson and Ember’s first Christmas. What should be a fun time gets a little tense as grandparents Amy and Matt Roloff plan separate holiday parties for their children and grandchildren, and with their significant others, Chris and Caryn.

While Jeremy, 28, and his wife Audrey trim their Christmas tree, they talk about their holiday traditions. For the past three years, they have celebrated Christmas, just the two of them. But this year, they’ll be with family and their newborn daughter Ember who is 3 months old. When Audrey finds an ornament from Jeremy’s childhood, he says, “I remember putting that up when I was Ember’s age.” Hmm. Jeremy can remember experiences from when he was 3 months old? While Jeremy might not be the most reliable storyteller, he does point out the obvious when he says “this year is going to be very different in many ways with my parents living apart. The farm is a very, kind of rocky environment right now.” Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays at 9pm on TLC.
