There are several unique performers from around the world auditioning for Season 13 of America’s Got Talent. For the first time in AGT history, an act from the Dominican Republic will audition — hip hop dance crew Da RepubliK. And from Japan comes to the comedic duo Yumbo Dump. This isn’t Yumbo Dump’s first time on TV; they recently performed on Asia’s Got Talent.
On America’s Got Talent, the shirtless duo does not need translators. They do not speak to the audience during their act and ask (by putting fingers up to their mouths) that audience remain quiet. They simply point to a sign that reads “We make lots of sound using our bodies.” After quietly spraying one of their bellies with water, they are able to make the sound of one drop of water failing on the surface of water by bumping the wet belly against the dry one. And it’s right on. “Feel so good!” they announce in unison after every sound. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
