On the fourth week of auditions for Season 13 of America’s Got Talent, judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel meet ballroom dancers Quin and Misha. The crowd goes crazy when Quin reveals that she’s turning 71 next month. (Misha is 35 years her junior: 35 years old.) When they dance, you can’t tell Quin is 35 years older. After the performance, Quin revealed that she is married and her husband of 46 years is in the wings watching with host Tyra Banks. After Quin and Misha receive four yeses to advance, Howie gets out of his chair to talk to the other judges. He says if his wife was like Quin, if she could move like her, “I don’t think I’m that secure.”
[Howie was a newlywed when he landed his role as Dr. Wayne Fiscus on St. Elsewhere]
Howie Mandel, 62, is married to Terry (Soil) Mandel — his wife of 38 years. They met in high school (Toronto, Canada) and married in 1980, when he was 25. They have three children (two daughters and a son). And now they’re grandparents. When asked about his long-lasting marriage in Hollywood, Howie usually mentions that his wife is patient and he kids that their marriage works because he’s on the road a lot. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
