In the Living Biblically episode “Never Let Loyalty Leave You,” Catholic priest Father Gene (Ian Gomez) is jealous when he finds out that Chip (Jay R. Ferguson) went to Vince’s (Tony Rock) Baptist church to see another side of religion. At the church, Chip and his wife Leslie (Lindsey Kraft) have a great time with the gospel choir and Vince’s Aunt Estelle.
Vince’s Aunt Estelle on Living Biblically is portrayed by Loretta Devine. She’s known for her roles on amazing The Carmichael Show (Jerrod’s mother Cynthia), Being Mary Jane (Cece), The Client List (Georgia Cummings), Grey’s Anatomy (Adele Webber, see link above), State of Georgia (Aunt Honey), Eli Stone (Patti Dellacroix), Boston Public (Marla Hendricks), Roc (Cynthia), and A Different World (Stevie Rallen), among others. Devine is also recognized for her roles in the films Madea’s Big Happy Family (Shirley), Crash (Shaniqua), and Waiting to Exhale (Gloria). Living Biblically airs Mondays at 9:30pm on CBS, right before Elementary.
