The Top 10 artists on Season 14 of The Voice are facing “Challenge Week”. Each artists gets to choose a song that reflects a personal challenge that they have overcome. Adam Levine is counting on his two artists — Rayshun LaMarr and Jackie Verna — to go deep. And they are. Jackie is singing the 2016 hit “Love Triangle” by country singer RaeLynn, who was a contestant on Season 2 of The Voice. For her blind audition she sang “Hell on Heels” by Pistol Annies and got Blake Shelton and Adam Levine to turn around. She went with Blake. (She was eliminated in the quarterfinals).

Regarding the “Love Triangle” song, RaeLynn tells the story that she was venting to her friends/producers Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins in the studio about being a kid of divorce. They compared RaeLynn’s situation to being stuck in a love triangle. The three of them wrote the song together. Love Triangle is on her WildHorse album. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
