Retired NFL football player Rashad Jennings won Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars with his dance pro partner Emma Slater. Now Jennings is back on the show to serve as a guest judge on the second episode of Dancing with the Stars: Athletes (Season 26). Jennings will likely be rooting for NFL cornerback Josh Norman (Washington Redskins), who is tied for first place after his first performance with pro dance partner Sharna Burgess. As judge Bruno Tonioli told Norman, “You are the one to watch.”
While watching Norman perform, one can’t help but notice the gold necklace he wears. It’s a gold pendant of The Chai — in Hebrew it is known as a sign of life. In Judaism, it symbolizes the number 18. Based on his first performance, 18 is not a score he’ll likely receive. (Note: Norman wears a #24 jersey on the field!) Dancing with the Stars: Athletes airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
