The Roloffs are back for Season 13 of Little People, Big World. And there are two new (adorable) faces on the show — Zach and Tori Roloff’s baby boy Jackson and Jeremy and Audrey Roloff’s baby girl Ember. Grandfather Matt Roloff says he hopes having the grandchildren around will keep the family connected but he also says that might be “wishful thinking.” (Of course, Matt knows something about long odds, just read his book Against Tall Odds: Being a David in a Goliath World.) The relationship between Matt and his ex-wife Amy Roloff has not gotten any better. Matt is trying to move on with his new lady friend, farm manager Caryn, but he’s also trying to figure out what to do with the farm, which still involves Amy.

In one scene, Matt asks Amy if she would consider moving to a small house. When she says no (she says she wants to stay in the house “for as long as I can”), Matt cries “that’s unfair.” In another scene, Matt brings their sons Zach and Jeremy into the office to talk with their mother about whether they should “keep or not keep the farm.” Amy says very calmly to Matt, “You’re talking about changing the divorce agreement,” to which Matt says, “You’re missing the point, you’re not listening.” Does that “you’re not listening” tactic ever work? Little People, Big World airs Tuesdays at 9pm on TLC.
