In the Jill and Jessa: Counting On episode “Spurgeon’s First Haircut,” while Jess and Ben Seewald finally give their 2-year-old son Spurgeon a haircut, Joe Duggar and his fiancee Kendra continue to plan for their upcoming wedding. Meanwhile, newlyweds Joy and Austin Forsythe “try to make the most of their “less-than-ideal living situation.” Their house isn’t done so they’re living in a trailer that’s parked right next to it. And not everything works in the RV including the microwave which they’re currently using as storage. “Living in the RV is definitely….it’s fun,” says Joy. Austin says, “It is quaint.” Joy says with a smile, “I’m just thankful to have a roof over my head.” Plus, it’s temporary, right?
The young couple has been married for about a month and a half and “living on love.” In this episode, in the RV, they make their first dinner together – chicken, green beans and potatoes. Jill and Jessa: Counting On airs Mondays at 9pm on TLC.
