In the When Calls The Heart episode “Believing,” while Abigail (Lori Loughlin) and Bill (Jack Wagner) leave town to testify in Gowen’s trial (Abigail is testifying for him, Jack against), a surprise visitors comes to Hope Valley. Elizabeth’s (Erin Krakow) redhead sister Julie shows up and tells Elizabeth she wants to become a teacher, too. The last time When Calls the Heart fans saw Julie was in the June 2015 episode “With All My Heart” when Elizabeth returned home to Hamilton for a family emergency.
Julie is portrayed by Charlotte Hegele. The Canadian actress is known for her roles on Reign (Fake Queen Mary/Jenny), Republic of Doyle (Lydia Cantor), Haven (Katie), and Bomb Girls with Agnes of God Oscar-nominated actress Meg Tilly (Kate Andrews), among others.
