In the Say Yes to the Dress episode “I’m Having a Moment,” while bride Brianna knows exactly what she wants – the dress Anastasia wears in the movie Fifty Shades Freed – bride Angela doesn’t know exactly what she wants in a wedding dress. Angela Buccinni owns a circus in Bushwick, Brooklyn called The Muse. And while the acrobatic bride is used to being in the spotlight, she doesn’t want to look like she’s in the circus on her wedding day. At Kleinfeld, Angela brings her mother and three friends who want to see their friend shine…preferably in sequins.
When Angela walks out of the dressing room for the first time, she models a simple strapless white gown. Her friends do not approve. It’s too plain. One friend says Angela looks like she’s in her pajamas. That’s a bit of a stretch but point taken. Angela does eventually say yes to the dress. Her husband, Yoni Kallai from Israel, is also in the circus. When they perform together they go by the stage names — Butch and Buttercup! Check them out below.
