Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynihan) is having a tough time in the Blue Bloods episode “The Brave,” While preparing for an upcoming murder trial, her right-hand man Anthony (Steve Schirripa) is shot while interviewing a witness. And then she’s told by her one and only child Nicky Reagan-Boyle (Sami Gayle) that she wants to take the police exam. Erin is not thrilled with the idea.
After hours, Erin goes to One Police Plaza and tells her NYPD Police Commissioner father Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), “I don’t want her to take the police exam, Dad.” When Erin insists that Nicky “is not a cop,” Frank quickly replies, “You don’t know that.” Erin reminds her father of when she wanted to take the police exam and how her mother reacted. Still, Frank doesn’t think it’s Erin place to tell Nicky which profession to choose. All the Blue Bloods stars shine in this episode. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS, right after Hawaii Five-0.
