In the Hallmark Channel movie Sharing Christmas, a real estate developer buys an old shopping complex and plans to modernize the mall. That means, out with the old retailers. His biggest obstacle isn’t money or unions or location (the location is prime) – it’s the one tenant who won’t budge. Her name is Stephanie (Ellen Hollman) and she runs the Christmas shop in the mall. Luckily for her she befriends one of the developer’s workers, Michael (Bobby Campo), and they hatch a plan together (and yes, they fall in love). The smooth music of real-life saxophonist Dave Koz helps set the mood.

Dave Koz is known for his smooth jazz saxophone playing music. After graduating from UCLA in 1986, he launched his music career when he joined Bobby Caldwell’s tour. For years after that he toured with Richard Marx, and played in the house bands of The Pat Sajak Show and on The Arsenio Hall Show. He released his eponymous titled debut solo album in 1990. In 2003 he was nominated for a Grammy for his Saxophonic album. His most recent studio album (his 16th!) is Dave Koz & Friends: 20th Anniversary Christmas (see link above). Sharing Christmas premieres on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, December 10 at 8pm.
