Former stand-up comedian Ellen DeGeneres is known for her wildly popular daytime talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show where she talks to celebrities, plays planks and likes to dance. But now Ellen is moving into a prime-time slot — Tuesdays at 8pm, after The Voice Season 13 names its winner (on Tuesday December 19). Ellen is host and producer of the new prime-time game show Ellen’s Game of Games. A sneak peek at the one-hour show will air Monday, December 18 at 10pm on NBC, right after The Voice‘s Live Finale, Part 1.
[Ellen is also a New York Times bestselling author]
Ellen’s Game of Games features physically challenging games including Blindfolded Musical Chairs and Scary Go Round, among others (some require helmets). The contestants, who are pulled right out of the audience, will also have to answer questions under crushing time pressure in order to win big cash prizes. The series premiere of Ellen’s Game of Games will air Tuesday, January 2 at 8pm on NBC.
