Before Top 10 artists of The Voice Season 13 give it all they have for their next round of live performances, Team Blake had a summit. Blake sat down with his three artists – Chloe Kohanski, Red Marlow, and Keisha Renee. Red asked Blake Shelton what was the one life-altering thing in his career, and Blake said The Voice. He explained that his first song came out in 2001, and ten years later, he was a coach on The Voice, “Only then did lots of people figure out who I was.”

Then Chloe asks: was there someone who influenced you, in music? Blake provided a list of four people: his hero Travis Tritt, Earl Thomas Conley, Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks because they were both from Oklahoma. Sheldon says, “I thought, wow, if they can do it, I can do it.” Good thing the country music industry — and a zillion fans — welcomed him, because Blake says he didn’t have a Plan B. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
