In the Will & Grace episode “Who’s Your Daddy,” while Grace (Debra Messing) and Karen (Megan Mullally) literally get wet in a scene straight out of I Love Lucy, Will (Eric McCormack) and Jack (Sean Hayes) try to date younger guys. Will is approached by twentysomething Blake who thinks Will is hot but barely lets Will speak without interruption.
Blake is portrayed by Broadway star Ben Platt. The 24-year-old is known for originating the role of Evan in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen, for which he won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He also appeared in The Book of Morman (Benji Applebaum) and in the Pitch Perfect films. His last day in Dear Evan Hansen will be November 19. He just signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. Will & Grace airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC, right after The Good Place.
