Kristina Pink is the welcome voice on the sidelines working with veteran announcer Kenny Albert (calling games at Fox since 1994) and Ronde Barber in the booth for Fox’s 2017 NFL coverage. Pink starts the season with fewer than 7,000 Twitter followers — no doubt she’ll end with far more. The University of Florida grad has also worked the courtside gig for the LA Clippers, so she’s had an up-close look at the old “thrill of victory” (Clippers regular season) and “agony of defeat” (Clippers playoffs efforts). That gives Pink extra empathy for what the NFL players and coaches are going through on the field, as she seeks insights and easily gains players’ trust on the sidelines. And with telegenic grace, too.
Pink isn’t just another extremely attractive presence on the sidelines, despite landing on all the “hottest sports reporters” lists and having gossip sites label her “baelicious” and the like. Pink studied journalism and telecommunications at Florida, graduating and quickly working her way up through the ranks from local (in Mississippi, Miami and New Orleans) to national correspondent. She joined Fox in 2012. Pink resides in the Los Angeles area after having grown up in Florida. It’s safe to say she likes sunny places.
