In the new CBS drama Wisdom of the Crowd, Jeremy Piven plays tech guru Jeffrey Tanner who’s determined to create a crowdsourcing platform which will revolutionize crime solving. He’s inspired to solve his daughter’s murder and receives counsel from Detective Cavanaugh who was forced off his daughter’s case.
Cavanaugh is portrayed by 6’2″ tall actor Richard T. Jones. He’s known for his roles on Criminal Minds (Officer Lionel Wilkins), American Horror Story (Detective Andy Hahn), Hawaii Five-0 (Governor Sam Denning), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (James Ellison), Girlfriends (Aaron Wtaers), and Judging Amy (Bruce Van Exel), among others. Fun fact: Jones is the son of Clarence Jones, a former Major League Baseball player who played with the Chicago Cubs from 1967 to 1968. Wisdom of the Crowd airs Sundays at 8:30pm on CBS.
